Taking place at the beginning of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, the Battle of Hoth was considered a major victory for the Galactic Empire and the single worst battlefield defeat suffered by the Rebel Alliance during the Galactic Civil War. Well now Star Wars fans can relive this epic moment in the Star Wars Saga with Funko's new "Battle at Echo Base" Pop! Diorama Collection.
Here we have the Probe Droid, the first thing we see in the film, after it's sent down to Hoth to scan for any form of life. The level of detail that's gone into this release (as well as the other figures in the set), is far superior to any Star Wars Pop! that Funko have released to date.
Besides the Probe Droid, the complete set will capture five other iconic characters and moments from the planet Hoth. Already released are the Wampa, Han Solo with Taun Taun and Flocked Chewbacca. The figures will feature bases that can be combined to nest together in any order you wish, which means you can change the display around as you please! When all the figures are combined, they will make for one cohesive display that will make the perfect centerpiece for any Star Wars collection.
